NME Awards
NME is the UK's leading music title. For over thirty years NME has been hosting the UK's leading music Awards. In 2006 the Awards and the Awards' shows were sponsored by P&G's ShockWaves.
Aside from unequivocal association with the country's most credible music media brand, ShockWaves received a fully integrated event sponsorship package across multi platforms, including NME, nme.com, branded gigs and television broadcast of the Awards event.
The awards shows sold 32,000 tickets to 17 dates across London with crowds entertained by Hard-Fi, The Editors, The Zutons, and Boy Kill Boy.
"You can't argue with the quality of the gigs they're treating us to over the next fortnight" Time Out.
Pre and post tracking highlighted just how well the sponsorship had worked at driving ShockWaves' business objectives of awareness, association, perception and consumption.
