As the grey faced party leaders lurch towards the inevitable general election, desperately clawing at us for votes and moaning on unintelligibly, it’s hard not to believe the House of Commons isn’t some sort of Zombieland.

ZombielandUK – the brand new game from Mousebreaker – allows the Great British public to take their revenge, doing battle to the death with all our “favourite” politicians, in the shadow of Big Ben.

Brown, Cameron, Clegg, Widdecombe, Mandelson and Blair all get the Zombieland treatment and punters get the chance to protect themselves from the onslaught with a staggering variety of equipment: from baseball bats to bowling balls!

“Comparing politicians to zombies is just so easy,” says Mousebreaker's Alan Martin. “Just replace the repeated shouts of 'brains' with 'I acted within the rules with my expenses claims' and you're halfway there.”

Mousebreaker have teamed up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on the Blu-ray and DVD release of Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson, and the opportunity to bring it to Parliament on the eve of a General Election was just too good to miss. “It seemed like a gift! We wanted to build a Zombie game and with voters listening to the same old spin every day in the build up to the election, the game almost wrote itself - we just took the soulless nature of politicians to its natural conclusion to make them truly undead.”
