Jon Hillock Joins NME Radio

NME Radio today announces the addition of Jon Hillcock to the station’s daytime line-up commencing Monday 5th October

Jon moves to NME Radio from XFM where his passion for music of all genres was clearly evident. Jon presented both daytime and specialist nighttime shows including cover for John Kennedy.  Having provided the first UK radio airplay for bands such as Arcade Fire and Klaxons, Jon created the New Noise Podcast, which became a weekly show in its own right - establishing Jon as a trusted tastemaker amongst both the public and music industry.

Jon will be presenting the NME Radio weekday mid-morning show from 10.00 – 12.00 and his highly successful New Noise show will be presented Saturday evenings from 19.00 – 21.00.

Sammy Jacob – NME Radio managing and programming director – says: "Jon’s knowledge and passion for new music matches the spirit of NME Radio perfectly. We’re all delighted to have Jon on board and I’m sure our listeners will be too. He’s also a really nice guy which makes working with him an even greater pleasure.”
