A WKD Night At The Nuts Football Awards 2007

In a hugely competitive men's market, Nuts were looking for a new and unique way to market themselves – to set the agenda as market leaders nad placing Nuts at the forefront of entertaining content for young men.

Following on from the success of the in-magazine Football Awards franchise, Nuts needed commercial support to grow it outside of the magazine.

IPC Ignite secures the sponsorship of drinks brand WKD and the main aim of the Sponsorship was to monitor awareness and association of WKD with Football, alongside determining WKD's brand perception.

Creative solutions included:

• A ½ hour co-branded television programme scheduled on ITV4 post Champions League Final
• A composite logoon all activity (in-mag, online, TV etc)
• A bespoke client 'Most WKD Goal Celebration' Award
• A 17-week in-mag sponsorship that built up towards the Awards to ensure relevancy and cut-throughwith Nuts readers
• 4 x DPS advertorials to support WKD branding objectives
